Biography of Francois Bouchard
François Bouchard is Co-President of GS1 Canada, a Canadian not-for-profit organization that provides trusted data through global standards and industry-managed solutions that support businesses and consumers across Canada. A long-time member of CFIG, former grocery retailer, and past Chair of the association, François brings more than three decades of experience owning and operating retail stores and a virtual grocery shopping platform.
Proud to be returning to the Grocery Innovations Canada Conference, François will discuss how 2D Barcodes powered by GS1 are reshaping the grocery landscape and enabling retailers and brands to achieve more with a simple scan. From richer product information and greater transparency to enhanced traceability and consumer engagement, he will share practical insights on one of the most significant industry transformations in decades.
