Biography of Uwe Stueckmann
Uwe Stueckmann is one of Canada's most accomplished retail marketers, with more than 25 years building brands, loyalty programs, and customer strategies for the country's largest retailers. Over 13 years at Loblaw Companies Limited — including as Executive Vice-President and Chief Customer Officer — he led the launch of PC Plus in 2013, its combination with Shoppers Optimum in 2018, and the growth of PC Optimum into Canada's largest and best-loved loyalty program. He was also an early architect of Loblaw's move to turn first-party loyalty data into a retail media business — the model now reshaping vendor relationships across the grocery industry.
Earlier in his career, Uwe held senior marketing roles at Lowe's, Shoppers Drug Mart, LoyaltyOne, Petro-Canada and BMW, with hands-on experience across programs including Air Miles, Petro-Points and Shoppers Optimum.
Today, Uwe is co-founder of Innovate Marketing, a Toronto-based consultancy focused on artificial intelligence and its impact on commerce, where he advises retailers and CPG manufacturers on loyalty, customer data, and AI-driven growth.
